Hideo Takahashi was born in Tokyo and currently lives in Ichikawa City, Japan. For more than thirty years, he served as chief editor and assistant to the Japanese philosopher and peace visionary, Masahisa Goi. He has also authored more than twelve books of his own, including several volumes of original poetry and the well-known Takemusu-Aiki, which he co-authored with Morihei Ueshiba, the founder of Aikido.
Through his lectures and writings, Mr. Takahashi has worked extensively in Japan and other countries to promote a worldwide awareness of peace. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, Aikido, and Japanese calligraphy. |
